Greg T Leaves Elvis, Reunites With Carolina

• After a successful 23-year run as a cast member of the Premiere-syndicated Elvis Duran & The Morning Show, based at iHeartMedia Top 40 WHTZ (Z100)/New York, Greg T is leaving the nest — and crossing the hall to sister WKTU as the newly named co-host of the Carolina with Greg T in the Morning Show, with Carolina Bermudez, effective October 9. That co-pilot seat has been empty since late May, when Paul “Cubby” Bryant transitioned down the hall to AC sibling WLTW (106.7 Lite FM) to co-host Cubby & Christine In The Morning with Christine Nagy.

“Together Again,” said Bermudez, who famously co-hosted Duran’s show for seven years until 2011. “After a summer of having the opportunity to share the studio with some of the best and brightest on-air hosts across the country, it just made sense to welcome my brother Greg T to the KTU family. I couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to welcome him to his new radio home!”

Greg T remarked, “After 23 years with the legendary Elvis Duran, I cannot think of anyone else I would rather start my new adventure with, than the incredible Carolina Bermudez. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the entire KTU family for giving me this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” Duran commented, “Greg T is a major part of our show’s 25-year success story and I will miss him dearly. We applaud his courage and determination to keep moving forward. I am so proud of him!”
