Everett Named OM Of Townsquare Hudson Valley

• A few weeks ago we told you Rick Everett had resigned as OM of Shamrock Communications Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and PD of Classic Rock WEZX (Rock 107) for a new gig TBA. Well, that day is now here, and we can finally reveal that Everett has joined Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley as Operations Manager for the eight-station cluster and PD of legendary Classic Rock 101.5 WPDH/Poughkeepsie NY, starting Monday, Sept. 30. Everett succeeds Joe Limardi, who recently stepped down after five years to follow his craft brew passion and joined Stamford, CT-based Half Full Brewery as the Director of Brand Experiences.

“Rick has a proven track record of guiding multiple formats to success and he brings a wealth of experience to our local group,” said Jason Finkelberg, Market President for Townsquare Media of The Hudson Valley, adding, “I can’t wait to write the next chapter of our legendary stations together.” Everett remarked, “I’m excited and feel very fortunate to be joining the great team of professionals at Townsquare Media/Hudson Valley. I look forward to continuing the great success that this legendary cluster has achieved. My thanks to Jason Finkelberg and [SVP of Programming] Kurt Johnson for their support.”

Prior to joining Shamrock Communications nearly five years ago Everett spent over a decade guiding Hall Communications’ WCTK (Cat Country 98.1)/Providence to prominence.

In addition to WPDH, Townsquare’s Hudson Valley group includes Hot AC WCZX (NOW 97.7), Alternative 92.7/96.9WRRV, Country simulcast WKXP/WZAD (94.3/97.3 The Wolf) and Spanish Adult Hits WEOK-AM (Juan 95.7).
