WKYS/DC Presents The Morning Hustle
• Radio One Urban WKYS/Washington just unveiled its newly reimagined morning show — The Morning Hustle, featuring existing host Angie Ange (center), a proud Howard University alum, who will now be joined by Jordan and Lore’l. “On Air” Jordan (right), the artist formerly known as Shorty da Prince, is a familiar voice to DC listeners as the former host of the WKYS night show from 2014 to 2017. Brooklyn-born Lore’l (left) is best known for her appearance on Season 3 of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York as well as her podcasts, Bully and the Beast and Lip Service.
Kashon Powell, VP of Programming, said, “I’m excited about The Morning Hustle and the dynamic show they will bring to the WKYS listeners every morning. They each have such unique personalities and I’m confident that the expansion of this show will continue to strengthen the WKYS brand.”
Angie commented, “When Jordan came to DC the first time, we immediately connected and have remained great friends. Lore’l is a big burst of energy and love.
