Michael Mayer On The Loose

• Michael Mayer is now a free agent as internal restructuring leads to the elimination of his position as Executive Producer of the Karlson, McKenzie and Heather morning show on iHeartMedia Classic Rock WZLX/Boston after five years.

Mayer (left) got his radio start as an intern in 2003, which lead to his first gig as a board op for the legendary WBCN/Boston until 2008. After five years in Oregon working for Talk Radio Network’s Laura Ingraham Show, Mayer returned to Boston in 2013, where he spent a year at WBZ-FM (98.5 The Sports Hub) before he was named Executive Producer of Karlson, McKenzie and Heather on 100.7 WZLX.
