Nailz On The Loose

• RAMP has learned that Marc “Nailz” Dixon, a longtime fixture at Cox Media Group Top 40 WPYO (Power 95.3)/Orlando has exited his position as afternoon drive talent and social media pro, due to restructuring. In his not-so-spare time Nailz was also doing 9am-4pm weekends on CMG Urban Power 106.1 (WJGL-HD2)/Jacksonville and 5-8pm Sundays on Urban WEDR (99 Jamz)/Miami.

Nailz actually started his radio career at WPYO as an intern back in the day and worked his way up to hosting the station’s No. 1 night show. His ratings success there earned him a big promotion to nights at sister WEDR (99 Jamz)/Miami. Two years later, in Oct. 2016, Nailz returned to Power 95.3, this time as morning co-host, and was most recently teamed up with Estee Martin until last July, when Martin was named PD of the cluster’s new Spanish Hot AC WOEX (Éxitos 96.5), and Nailz moved to afternoon drive.
