• RAMP has confirmed that Country Radio Hall of Famer Mac Daniels has exited as PD of Cumulus Country duo KPLX (99.5 The Wolf) & KSCS/Dallas. We understand the position will be posted at any moment on the Cumulus Careers portal.

Daniels was named to his current post in February 2016, earning the transfer from sister KSJO/San Jose. His four-decade career includes previous programming stints with WMZQ/Washington, WYCD/Detroit, KSKS/Fresno and KASE & KVET/Austin. Interestingly, Daniels served as APD of KPLX earlier in his career. He was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame last year.

RAMP has also learned that Steve “That Guy” Kramer has exited as morning show host on iHeartMedia Top 40 KHTS (Channel 933)/San Diego after four years of service. As of now, co-host Geena The Latina is flying solo.

Kramer previously co-hosted the morning show (with Nina D.) on CBS Radio Country KMLE/Phoenix from November 2013 until November 2015. His earlier stops (with former co-hosts Holly O’Connor and Miguel Fuller) include CBS Radio Adult Top 40 WSJT (Play 98.7)/Tampa andMagic Broadcasting Top 40 WILN (Island 106)/Panama City, FL.
