CRS 2020: Here To Help

• The Country Radio Broadcasters congratulates the three recipients of the 2020 Rusty Walker Scholarship — Nichole Breau, Promotions Manager, WCTY/Norwich, CTDan Weir, PD/afternoon personality, KFGY (Froggy 92.9)/Sonoma County, CA and Anthony Donatelli, Afternoons/Digital Content Creator, KFRG (K-Frog 95.1)/Riverside, CA.

These three talented individuals, first-time CRS attendees will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Nashville for three nights, have the opportunity to network with CRS board members, and will be recognized during opening ceremonies at CRS 2020, which will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19 through Friday, Feb. 21 at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Kurt Johnson, CRB/CRS Board President, commented, “The CRB Board and staff are proud to pay it forward through this annual scholarship. These winners personify the qualities Rusty Walker championed: Love for entertaining the audience, constant innovation, and strong determination to succeed. Congratulations to all three!”

The Rusty Walker Scholarship Program honors the legacy of former CRS board member Rusty Walker, a Country Radio Hall of Fame inductee, an influential programmer, consultant and mentor. After his shocking passing in 2012, the scholarship program was developed to continue his legacy of supporting bright, young minds in the business.
