• Cumulus Top 40 WHTS (105.3 Hot FM)/Grand Rapids, MI has parted company with PD/morning personality Kevin “Gravy” Canup after a decade of service. Canup originally joined WHTS to do nights 2007. He was upped to mornings in 2011 and added PD stripes three years ago. Canup’s previous programming stop was NextMedia’s WCZQ (Hot 105.5)/Champaign, IL. Earlier in his career Canup was on-air at KNDA/Corpus Christi, TX and KTKO/Beeville, TX.

• Morning show vet Logan Kelly worked at iHeartMedia heritage AC WFSY (Sunny 98.5)/Panama City, FL from 2004 until May of this year. Since his departure (while waiting out his non-compete), Kelly has wisely put his downtime to productive use, calling upon his morning show skills to assemble a daily one-sheet of morning show basics: topic ideas (except for Mondays), useable trivia questions, jokes, ‘This Day In History,’ topical stuff, good news, and a bunch of videos for use on air and on blogs. “Right now it’s free and I’m just mailing it out to about a dozen jocks I know,” Kelly tells RAMP.
