Brian Jennings On The Loose

• Brian Jennings has exited as PD of Griffin Communications’ Country KVOO and Classic Country KXBL (Big Country 99.5)/Tulsa, OK. He had also done middays on KVOO and nights on KXBL. For now, Griffin Tulsa Operations Manager Steve Hunter and MD Amber Glaze will handle KVOO programming duties. Shelby Travis, PD of Talk KFAQ will also oversee KXBL during the transition.

Jennings arrived in Tulsa in November 2017, hired by previous owner Scripps, coming off a five-year stint as OM of iHeartMedia’s four-station group in his hometown of Wichita, KS and PD of Country KZSN (102.1 The Bull). Jennings’ earlier stops include KZKX/Lincoln, NE and WGAR/Cleveland.
