Come Do Middays In Nashville!
• As Nashville continues to be one of America’s fastest growing cities, Midwest Communications’ Top 40 WNFN (i106.7) continues to grow with it. With growth comes change, and part of that changes involves the arrival of one new staffer — and the impending departure of another.
Brand Manager Joe Breezy lays out the situation, and introduces his newest staff member, telling RAMP, “I’m excited to announce our new APD/MD/Imaging Director — a man so cool, he only has one name — ‘Rosie (left).'” Rosie’s previous stops include Cumulus crosstown Country WKDF (NASH FM 103.3), preceded by his Sacramento experience as APD/Production Director for KHTK, along with stints at KNCI and KZZO. Breezy said, “When I met Rosie, I knew immediately that his intensity, passion for winning and PPM knowledge would be a huge asset and I had to get him on our team. There’s no doubt having him on board will help our station fly!”
• And in the departure lounge, i106.7 midday personality and Social Media Coordinator Kage Sanderson (right) has tendered her resignation, effective Friday, October 26. “Kage is one of my favorite people I’ve ever worked with and she has done an amazing job for us,” Breezy says. “She’s just looking for a change and wants to test her skill sets outside of radio, and who am I to hold her back! She’s exploring artist development and management, PR, record label opportunities… basically anything music and artistry, Kage can get it done! Get her on your team while you can because she is AWESOME!” Reach out to Kage at KageSanderson@gmail.com.
• With that said, Breezy is now looking for his next midday star! “I’m looking for someone that wants to take over Music City and represent our brand anywhere and everywhere all over Nashville! If you can rock the mic, kill it in front of the camera and make impressions that will last, then this is your shot! We’re a fast-paced, high-performing CHR, so if you live the lifestyle of our 18-34 female targeted audience — and you are obsessed with social media — I want to hear from you!” You heard the man — candidates for this EOE position should rush their best stuff to HireMeNashville@mwcradio.com. Only hard workers and team players need apply.
