Morgan In Motion

• Cox Media Group Hot AC WSB-FM (B98.5)/Atlanta makes it official and proclaims Charly Morgan is now a permanent fixture in middays. Ms. Morgan is currently the morning drive co-host on WNGC (Your Georgia Country)/Athens, GA and has also been handing midday fill-in on B98.5 since May.

In making the big announcement, Chris Eagan, Director of Branding and Programming, said, “I’ve been listening to Charly on WNGC for years — her sound, personality and style are a perfect fit for B98.5. She’s warm, friendly and fun on the air and off, and a great addition to our Atlanta team.” Morgan commented, “To be given this opportunity is truly a dream come true! An opportunity like this doesn’t come along every day and it was one I could not turn down. Chris is one of the best in the business and I’m incredibly grateful to have his trust and support. I’m so excited for this next chapter to begin!”

• Concurrent with Morgan’s installation at B98.5, it was announced that she would be relinquishing her morning co-host role at WNGC, which means an actual morning show job opening! WNGC is now seeking a highly talented jack (or jill)-of-all-trades morning co-host/APD to follow in Charly’s sizeable footsteps!
