Leighton Broadcasting Country KZPK (Wild Country 99)/St. Cloud, MN now has afternoon drive open. Why, you ask? Turns out the station’s current pm driver, the delicious-sounding Johnny Taco (may not be his real name) is heading to California for his first PD gig TBA, and PD Kris Valentine is now seeking his replacement. But first, a few questions: 1) Can you shine on-air by being relatable, fun and engaging? 2) Air more than two phoners an hour? 3) Blow up social media by posting relevant, topical and engaging content? 4) Take direction and coaching to better yourself and the station? 5) Turn a remote into an event?
