3-2-1… Trident MMP Launches
• Trident MMP officially debuts this week as a comprehensive promotion, marketing, and artist management company. Months in the making, this new venture is led by radio and record industry veterans Chris Siciliano,Elana Riggle, Todd Haller and Val Garris, who are returning to the basics of artist development and marketing. Trident offers a full range of customizable services, including promoting new releases to radio, executing full-scale digital and social campaigns, organizing promotional tours, and designing cohesive marketing plans. Trident is also assembling a roster of some of the most talented artists in the country.
The company’s core belief is in maintaining a personal, vested interest and partnership to protect the integrity of the artist. “With the industry shrinking every day, we believe that a back-to-basics, focused approach to marketing and management is more important than ever,” said CEO/Founder Siciliano, most recently VP of Promotion at Capitol. Earlier stops include Virgin, Epic/550 and CBS/Sony. “I have brought together some of the most respected professionals from all aspects of the business. Our team is exceptionally knowledgeable, driven, and committed to the same basic cause: breaking artists.”
That team includes Elana Riggle (President), who spent the past spent eight years at In2une Music, the last six as VP of Promotion. She previously worked for Atlantic/Roadrunner/Fueled By Ramen, Warner Bros. and Virgin. Haller (VP of Artist Management/Touring) was most recently OM for Bahakel Communications in Chattanooga TN. He earlier programmed WLNK/Charlotte, and was Executive Producer of the Bob and Sherinetwork. Val Garris (Chief Operating Officer) notably spent two decades with Cumulus as Corporate VP Programming. He earlier worked for McVay Media and Burkhart/Douglas. He currently works with Benztown as a writer/programmer and producer for Flashback, and Today in Rock History.
