Alpha Media Holds Portland Pop-Up
• Alpha Media has kicked off its inaugural Programming Pop-Up, a two-day forum at the company’s Portland, OR headquarters attended by 50 of the company’s Content Directors. The stated goal of this Pop-Up is “to motivate and educate Alpha’s brand leaders by providing interaction with and information from some of the industry’s top executives and celebrity influencers.”
Meetings and presentations are being held in the Alpha-owned theater located at Alpha’s corporate offices in Portland. Sessions run all day today and tomorrow, September 27 and feature presentations by syndicated morning duo Brooke & Jubal, Promotions Guru Paige Nienaber, Nike Brand Ambassador, Steve Bence and several more dynamic sessions with record label and music management executives from RCA, Columbia, Epic, Republic, In2une and Hollywood Records. We are told that Thursday’s first speaker will be Steve Harvey.
The festivities got underway on Tuesday evening with a rooftop cocktail party at the Porter Hotel’s swanky Xport Bar & Lounge, featuring performances by Mike Posner and Ocean Park Standoff.
