Bex Named Producer/Co-Host Of ‘Matty In The Morning’
• iHeartMedia Top 40 WXKS (Kiss 108)/Boston has named Rebekah “Bex” Maroun as the new Executive Producer and co-host for Matty In The Morning. Bex will join legendary host Matt Siegel and longtime co-hosts Billy Costa and Lisa Donovan on October 1. She succeeds Medha Gandhi, who recently moved to New York to join the syndicated Elvis Duran & The Morning Show.
“I love Bex and can’t wait to work with her,” said Siegel. “Bex is a true talent and I know her creativity and upbeat personality will add a special element to our morning show.” Dylan Sprague, who doubles as PD of Kiss 108 and SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Boston, commented, “Bex’s chemistry with the Matty team was obvious at our first meeting. Couple that with her magnetic personality and producing experience and it was really an easy choice.”
Bex relocates to Boston from Philadelphia, where she spent the past four years in various roles on the 96.5 frequency, currently home to Entercom Hot AC WTDY (96.5 TDY). Before that she co-hosted the morning show on CBS Radio’s former WZMP (96.5 AMP Radio) and its predessesor, Beasley’s WRDW (Wired 96.5). Bex also hosted a sports segment on 94 WIP SportsRadio, served as an entertainment reporter for KYW NewsRadio 1060 and assisted in the launch of The Hot Minute entertainment segment on CBS 3. Bex also formerly served as a producer for iHeartMedia’s syndicated The Weekend Throwdown with Jagger.
