Andino To Head Orchard Urban Division

• Leading music, film and video distribution company The Orchard has named Jay Andino as Vice President of the company’s newly established Urban Division. In this role, Andino will lead Urban strategy and operations for The Orchard, including oversight of relationships and acquisitions, as well as sales and marketing. He also will be responsible for seeking and securing opportunities with key Urban artists, labels, management companies and other strategic partners.

Andino joins The Orchard from 300 Entertainment, where he most recently served as Director of National Urban and Rhythm Promotions under Lyor Cohen and Kevin Liles. Andino previously worked for Interscope Records, and he began his music industry career at SRC Records under Gaby Acevedo and Steve Rifkind.

Andino will report to The Orchard’s CEO Brad Navin, who said, “Jay’s enthusiasm and exceptional track record in the Urban genre make him the ideal candidate for The Orchard’s Urban Music Division.
