Gaga’s Dogs Stolen, Dog Walker Shot

Lady Gaga is offering a $500,000 reward after two of her three dogs were stolen from her dog walker, who was shot by one of the dognappers. The violent incident, which was captured on surveillance video, happened Wednesday evening in Hollywood.

A representative from the Los Angeles Police Department told Variety that a man, later identified as Gaga’s friend Ryan Fischer, was shot during a robbery attempt Wednesday night near the 1500 block of North Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood. The video footage, obtained by TMZ, captured Fischer walking with Gaga’s three French bulldogs, Gustav, Koji and Asia around 9:40pm Wednesday when a white, four-door sedan pulled up alongside him. Two men jumped out of the car, and according to eyewitness reports, one of the men yelled “Give it up!” as he confronted Fischer. “No! Help me!” Fischer screamed as he wrestled for control of the dogs. When Fischer refused to let go of the dogs, one of the attackers raised a handgun and fired a single shot, striking Fischer in the chest. As he fell to the sidewalk the duo grabbed two of three dogs, Gustav and Koji, and fled in the car. Fischer clung to the third dog, Miss Asia, as he writhed on the ground, wailing in agony.

A source confirmed to Variety that Gaga is offering $500,000 for the safe return of her dogs, no questions asked. A dedicated email account, KojiandGustav@gmail.com has been set up to provide any information about the dogs. Gaga is currently in Italy preparing for her next film, based on the Gucci family murder and directed by Ridley Scott. That’s Fischer, pictured in an Instagram photo with Koji and Asia.
