Hitco Partners With Pilgrim

L.A. Reid and Charles Goldstuck‘s Hitco Entertainment is teaming up with Craig Piligian‘s Pilgrim Media Group to develop and produce music-focused projects for distribution across all platforms. The partnership includes two projects already in development — an untitled documentary covering the rise of the Atlanta music scene, and a singing competition series, tentatively titled Take the Lead.

An Emmy winner for his early work on CBS-TV’s Survivor, Piligian is widely recognized as a trailblazer of the unscripted television space. His company currently produces over 30 programs for multiple platforms and has several award-winning documentaries screening at film festivals around the world. Hitco was founded earlier this year by Reid and Goldstuck, who have already signed Big Boi (Outkast) and Dinah Jane (Fifth Harmony), among others.

In a joint statement, Reid and Goldstuck said, “We’re beyond thrilled to partner with Craig and the innovative content creators at Pilgrim. Given their diverse portfolio of programming and Craig’s unparalleled experience as an industry pioneer, we’re looking forward to the launch of our television business, which we see as a continuation of our many years of experience developing and producing cross-platform content.” Piligian commented, “In all respects, L.A. and Charles have each made a tremendous impact on music. We are excited to be working with them to push the boundaries of the music programming genre with these projects and more to come.”
