Republic Ups Goldstein To Pres. West Coast Creative
• Republic Records has promoted noted A&R executive Wendy Goldstein to President, West Coast Creative. The announcement was made today by Republic co-founders and chief executives Monte and Avery Lipman.
Ms. Goldstein has overseen the company’s Santa Monica office since 2017 as EVP, Republic Records. During her tenure at Republic she has been responsible for the evolution, sustained success and viability of some of the biggest superstars in the world, including Ariana Grande, Jonas Brothers, The Weeknd, Julia Michaels and many others.
Monte Lipman commented, “Wendy’s reputation as one of the industry’s best A&R executives is accurate and well deserved. Her instincts, focus and respect within the creative community remain unparalleled. Leading by example, this new position will recognize her proven track record as an exceptional executive, role model, and gives her the opportunity to guide the company into uncharted waters.”
Avery Lipman remarked, “Wendy is truly an A&R visionary. Her keen intuition, perspective, and passion for music have galvanized the careers of countless superstars. Not to mention, she’s family to Republic Records, having signed our very first project to a major label deal. We can’t wait for the next chapter with her.”

Goldstein joined Republic in 2009 as an A&R Consultant. She was upped to SVP of A&R in 2011 and named EVP and Head of Urban in 2014. Prior to Republic, Goldstein held A&R positions at East West Records, Geffen Records, MCA Records and Capitol/ Priority Records.
