• Sending a large shout-out to our pals at KCSN (88.5 The SoCal Sound)/Los Angeles, which was action central Monday morning, thanks to the support of superstar Olivia Rodrigo, who wisely used the station’s extensive reach to schedule a guest DJ stint from 9-10am Monday to make a major concert announcement.
As PD Mark “Mookie” Kaczor remarked, “Olivia specifically chose The SoCal Sound to share it first. Olivia sees the value in community radio and wants to amplify that community spirit! During her DJ set, Olivia took over the airwaves, played a bunch of incredible tracks and announced the Daisy Chain Fields Festival: an all women-fronted festival she personally curated for August 29th at Great Park in Irvine, CA.”
