SVP Stripes For Columbia’s Lisa Sonkin

Columbia Records has promoted Lisa Sonkin to Senior Vice President of Triple A and Public Radio Promotion. Sonkin was most recently VP of Triple A and Public Radio Promotion for the label. The announcement of Sonkin’s upgrade was made by Lee Leipsner, Executive Vice President of Promotion for Columbia Records, who said, “Lisa is one of the most trusted and respected promotion executives in our business. She’s led our Triple A department to unprecedented heights, becoming part of the fabric of our overall success. I’ve enjoyed working with her immensely and know that the entire Columbia Records team joins me in congratulating her on this well-deserved promotion.”

Since joining Columbia Records in 2008, Sonkin has worked with Adele, Hozier, Leon Bridges, John Mayer, HAIM, George Ezra, Broken Bells, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, The Shins, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, First Aid Kit, Jack White and many others. Sonkin previously spent four years at Epic Records as VP of Triple A Promotion, and from 1993 to 2004, she worked at Elektra Records.
