Taste Of Hope Event Postponed
• In light of escalating concerns over the COVID-19 coronavirus situation, City of Hope has postponed its 14th Annual Taste of Hope fundraiser that had been scheduled for April 2 at ThreeSixty in New York.
In a memo, the City of Hope Music, Film & Entertainment Industry team read, in part, “City of Hope is closely monitoring and is taking extra steps that are necessary to protect the health of our patients, who have unique needs — as well as the health of our staff, donors, volunteers, and partners. Our decisions are first and foremost aimed at safety and well-being for all with whom we interact.
“We have worked closely with Alissa Pollack, EVP, Global Music Marketing & Strategy at iHeartMedia in making the decision to postpone the 14th Annual Taste of Hope event and will work with our event chairs and committee members to determine the best path forward for rescheduling.
“With an abundance of caution and everyone’s health in mind, we are postponing to a later date. We will notify you when the new date has been solidified. Organizations across the country are making similar difficult, but necessary, decisions.”
