Taste Of Hope Springs Eternal
• We are thrilled to share the news that, after a two-year hiatus (much like everything else in the world), City of Hope’s Music, Film and Entertainment Industry Group proudly announces the 2022 Taste of Hope, which returns to Three Sixty, 10 Desbrosses St. in New York City on Sept. 15 from 7-10pm.
Founded by Alissa Pollack, iHeartMedia EVP, Global Music Marketing and Strategy, Taste of Hope is an elegant evening featuring a distinguished selection of wines from the world’s finest private collections, along with dinner, and exciting live and silent auctions. “We’re baaaack!” a jubilant Pollack tells RAMP. “This year’s Taste of Hope will be even more special than ever. I’m blown away by all the enthusiasm I’m feeling around the event and I expect it to be our biggest attendance yet.”
Over the past decade, the event has brought together prominent radio and record industry executives and entertainment industry superstars like Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey and Carrie Underwood, and has generated more than $3.1 million to improve outcomes for people with cancer and diabetes, and this upcoming 14th edition of this amazing charitable event will just add to this total. In addition to the money raised for research and treatment, a portion of the funds generated during this very special evening will benefit the Jason Pollack Memorial Fund at Musicians On Call, named in honor of Alissa’s father.
Pollack leads Taste of Hope’s event committee, supported, as always, by an equally high-powered committee that includes Steve Bartels, music entrepreneur and entertainment executive; Tom Corson, co-Chairman & COO of Warner Records; Shawn “Pecas” Costner, CAA Executive; Bruce Gearhart, former President of Bacchus Importers, LTD.; Peter Gray, EVP/Head of Promotion at Columbia Records; Richard Palmese, CEO of Palmese Entertainment; Antonio “L.A.” Reid, Founder & Co-chairman of Hitco Entertainment; Marcus T. Grant; Dave Dyer, SVP of Promotion & Marketing at Warner Records; Mike Easterlin, co-President of Elektra Music Group; and Greg Thompson, President/Partner at Big Loud Management.
Pollack added, “It’s always such a good feeling to see so many friends, co-workers and even competitors all in one room coming together to raise awareness and funds for City Hope and the amazing work that they do. Get your ticket today — you won’t want to miss this reunion!” To secure your 2022 Taste of Hope tickets, please visit CityofHope.org/music-taste.
