Vice Fits Nice On Joe Daddio

We want to offer our most sincere congratulations to RCA promo pro Joe Daddio, who is now proudly sporting stripes that loudly declare him to be Vice President of Pop Promotion. Daddio was most recently Sr. Director, Pop Promotion. In a staff memo, RCA EVP/GM Joe Riccitelli remarked, “It’s rare to have a former intern elevate himself to Vice President. Joe Daddio and I have been working together for close to 20 years. His ability to analyze, promote, strategize and remain passionate in today’s promotional climate has been invaluable to this promotion staff.”

Daddio embarked on his music industry career on the radio side in Connecticut, holding various on-air positions at WKCI (KC101)/New Haven, WQGN/New London and WILI/Willimantic, CT. His record label oddyessy began in 1996 as an assistant at Island Records. He was later named Chicago Regional for Island and the Denver Regional for Island/Def Jam before heading to Jive Records in 1999 as the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional Rep. And the rest, as they say, is history. Commenting on his promotion, Daddio said, “I am honored and excited to continue working at RCA with the best pop artist roster and promo team in the country, and I’m thankful to Peter Edge, Tom Corson and Joe Riccitelli for this incredible opportunity.” Your congratuatory emails will now proceed to flood Joe’s inbox at joe.daddio@rcarecords.com.
