Westwood One, Cumulus All-In On AMAs
• Westwood One and Cumulus Media are the official national radio partners for the 2018 American Music Awards and will offer a ton of special programming and exclusive content tied in with The 2018 American Music Awards, which will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 9 from 8-11pm ET on ABC.
Westwood One will welcome over 25 local stations and national shows to its Westwood One Backstage at the AMAs radio row remote on Monday, October 8, from 11am-4pm at the Microsoft Theater Event Deck. Westwood One, through its partnership with the American Music Awards and dick clark productions will also create exclusive AMA branded long-form and short-form content leading up to and following the awards, including:
Tune In Highlights – 30-second content airing weekdays from September 24-October 5; Hot AC, AC and Top 40 version hosted by Jayde Donovan from WPLJ/NY and host of the syndicated weekend Jayde Show; Urban/Urban AC version hosted by Kenny Smoov from WQQK/Nashville.
Two-Hour Nomination Special airing October 6 or 7, from 6am to midnight; Hot AC, AC and Top 40 version hosted by Jayde Donovan; Urban/Urban AC version hosted by Kenny Smoov.
Five-hour Red Carpet/Broadcast Companion/Wrap-Up Show, Tuesday, October 9; One-hour Red Carpet, Tuesday, October 9, at 7pm ET, hosted by Elaina D.
