American Ninja Morning Guy
This isn’t Scotty’s first reality show rodeo — he appeared on Season One of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. He submitted an audition tape for American Ninja Warrior in December 2018, and after four months of waiting, he finally got the call informing him of his selection. Scotty will be participating in the competition in honor of his son, who loves the show, and will also raise awareness for the non-profit, Apple-A-Day Foundation, which provides technology for children with pediatric cancer to help them connect to the world and live a life of normalcy.
Scotty will travel to Oklahoma City to compete in City Qualifiers on April 12-13. Until then, he will be training and releasing more episodes of his recently launched podcast, Off The Course — An American Ninja Warrior Podcast, where he talks to current and former contestants of American Ninja Warrior about the obstacles they have overcome, both on and off the course. Scotty said, “I just hope I can be an example of what hard work can accomplish for my son, and show that there is no obstacle to tough in life if you don’t let fear get in the way. The difference between good and great will always be effort, and I’m all in.”
