Audacy & ‘Bru’ Renew Vows
• Audacy announced a multiyear contract extension with radio and multi-media personality Joshua “Bru” Brubaker, who hosts his daily radio show on B96/Chicago, WPOW (Power 96)/Miami, KALV (Live 101.5)/ Phoenix, and 15 other Audacy brands from a street-level studio in Los Angeles. He also hosts the weekly national Country Sunday Nights show across Audacy’s portfolio of Country stations.
“We are so excited to continue the partnership between Audacy and Bru,” said Jeff Sottolano, Audacy EVP of Programming. “His enthusiastic personality shines through on the air, in video, and across social platforms, and he has the ability to make any artist feel completely comfortable in his presence. He’s a total asset to our programmers and marketers across the company, and we look forward to watching him grow his network of followers across multiple platforms.”
We are told that through his daily show and national Sunday night program, Bru reaches over 1.6 million listeners every week. He has over 5 million followers across social platforms with 750,000,000 views. Bru’s career began on the small-town airwaves of WLEW in scenic Bad Axe, MI, before gaining major market success in Detroit before joining Audacy two years ago. A rise to fame on TikTok followed, which crowned him the “CEO of Radio TikTok.”
“I am incredibly grateful to continue my relationship with Audacy,” Bru said. “These past couple of years have flown by. Their support and dedication to producing exceptional content have been inspiring, and I look forward to continuing our partnership for years to come. Thank you to David Field, Susan Larkin, Jeff Sottolano, Dave Richards, and the entire Audacy team for continuing to support and grow with my show!”
