Bruno Is Your 2017 iHeartRadio Innovator
The iHeartRadio Music Awards will honor Bruno Mars with its most prestigious award of the evening — the 2017 iHeartRadio Innovator Award, an honor previously bestowed upon industry luminaries Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake and U2. iHeartRadio will honor the multiple Grammy winner for his unparalleled contribution to popular culture and the music industry. Mars has sold over 170 million singles, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. In addition to his highly anticipated performance that evening, Mars is also nominated in the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards’ “Best Cover Song” category.
This fourth annual event is happening on Sunday, March 5 from the “Fabulous” Forum in Los Angeles and rolls live on TBS, TNT and truTV at 8pm ET/5pm PT and simulcast on iHeartMedia stations and iHeartRadio. The show will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and in addition to Bruno, there will be performances by Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes, Thomas Rhett, Noah Cyrus and Big Sean, with more TBA.
