CMA Adds Three, Ups Two

• The Country Music Association (CMA) and the CMA Foundation announced three new hires in newly created positions across the CMA Event Operations and Insights teams as well as the CMA Foundation team — Ryan Nelson joins CMA as Sr. Director, Event Operations, LeighAnn Rodd joins CMA as Director, Insights and Victoria Rutledge joins the CMA Foundation as Director, Major Gifts. Nelson previously served as Sr. Director, Global Recording and Concert/Event Production at Yamaha Corporation. He now reports to Emily Evans, CMA Vice President, Business Strategy & Operations and can be contacted at rnelson@cmaworld.com.

Prior to joining CMA, Rodd worked as a Sr. Associate Manager for Cracker Barrel. Rodd now reports to Michael Farris, CMA Sr. Director, Business Strategy & Insights and can be reached at lrodd@cmaworld.com.

Rutledge earlier served as Director of Development at NAMI Tennessee. She now reports to Tiffany Kerns, CMA Foundation Executive Director, and can be reached at vrutledge@cmaworld.com.

CMA also announced the promotion of Justin Randall to Sr. Director, Information Technology and Megan Wise to Sr. Director, Brand Partnerships.

Randall (left) has been with CMA since 2014. In his new position as Sr. Director of IT, he will lead and mentor CMA’s technology team. He is also responsible for driving the overall vision, strategy and execution to help shape the innovative technological direction of the organization. In her fifth year at CMA, Wise (right) generates new long-term corporate alliances and sponsorships while also maintaining existing partner relationships for CMA’s primary events.
