iHeart Rides Shotgun On USA Bobsled

As part of the partnership, iHeartMedia will contribute significant on-air and digital marketing support to help promote USA Bobsled and Skeleton recruitment events to a broader audience nationwide and will become the title sponsor for the 2026 Recruitment Series. This collaboration provides a valuable opportunity to introduce bobsled and skeleton to a broader audience as the organization continues its mission to recruit world-class talent and win medals for the United States on the world stage.
Each offseason, USABS hosts in-person recruitment events, as well as a virtual combine, to identify new talent. Athletes participating in the 2026 iHeartRadio USA Bobsled/Skeleton Recruitment Series are tested in a variety of skills, including: 40-yard sprint • Broad jump and vertical jump • 5-10-5 pro agility shuttle • Kneeling power ball toss • 20-yard resisted sprint. No prior sliding experience is required to participate.
Top-performing athletes identified through combine testing will be invited to Lake Placid, NY, for Rookie Camp, where they further develop their skills and have the opportunity to push a sled on ice for the first time.
“We’re proud to partner with USA Bobsled and Skeleton to help amplify their recruitment efforts nationwide,” said Michael Biondo, President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships for iHeartMedia. “This is an incredible opportunity to inspire new athletes and support the future of the USA team.”
