We cleverly teased this development yesterday, and BOOM! — it’s now a done deal — CBS Radio Top 40 KVIL/Dallas has officially rebranded as AMP 103.7.

In making the big announcement, Brian Purdy, SVP/Market Manager for CBS Radio DFW climbed on top of the receptionist’s desk and exclaimed, “AMP 103.7 is more than a new name; it’s a new brand that represents today’s true identity of the station and its listeners. KVIL has a rich legacy in Dallas-Fort Worth, but it’s not your mother’s radio station any more — unless, of course, your mom is super cool.”

AMP 103.7 comes roaring out of the gate with Fast in the Morning, starring Nathan Fast, weekdays from 5:30-10am, followed by Sybil Summers in middays and Tanner Kloven driving you home from 3-7pm.
