WFLZ/Tampa Rebrands As ’93-3 BUC’
• In honor of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers making history as the first team ever to play in a Super Bowl in their home stadium — and Hall of Fame lock Tom Brady playing in his record 10th Super Bowl — iHeartMedia’s WFLZ (93.3 FLZ)/Tampa Bay has officially rebranded as 93-3 BUC!
RAMP checked in with Tommy Chuck, SVP of Programming, who told us, “The past year has been historic for many reasons. Here in Tampa Bay, we’ve seen all of our major sports teams play for a championship. The Tampa Bay Rays played in the World Series, The Tampa Bay Rowdies played in their league championship, the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are making history as the first team to ever play in a Super Bowl at their home stadium! We may never see a great year like this again, so all of us in Tampa Bay are making the most of it. Go Bucs!”
