‘Ann Kelly Era’ Ending In Tampa Bay
• After nearly four decades of entertaining Tampa Bay with warmth, laughter, and genuine companionship, Ann Kelly, the award-winning morning host of Soft AC WDUV (105.5 The Dove) announced her impending retirement following an extraordinary 38-year career with Cox Media Group Tampa.
Since arriving in Tampa Bay from Syracuse, NY in 1988, Kelly has become one of the region’s most recognizable and trusted radio personalities. Her unmistakable voice, infectious optimism, and heartfelt connection with listeners have made mornings on The Dove, which she has anchored since 2011, a cherished part of daily life for generations of Tampa Bay residents, earning her a 2021 Marconi Award for Large Market Personality of the Year.
Throughout her career, Kelly approached every day as a new “AnnVenture,” delighting listeners with stories of her travels and unique discoveries throughout Florida. Her passion for cooking inspired “Ann Kelly’s Kitchen,” a popular blog where she shared favorite recipes, kitchen tips, and her love of bringing people together through food. Kelly has also generously donated her time to countless charitable organizations, openly shared her personal journey with Lupus to educate and inspire others, and has been a passionate supporter of the Suncoast Animal League and an active board member of the Tampa Bay Arthritis Foundation.
