Atlanta’s Bull: Otis Returns, Graves Exits

• After a year-long radio hiatus, due to last fall’s corporate cuts at iHeartMedia, some great news from Jeremy “Otis” Maher — he’s been reactivated and will once again assume his former position as MD and host of “The O Show” in afternoon drive at iHeartMedia Country WUBL (94.9 The Bull)/Atlanta.

Lance Houston, who had been doing the Bull afternoon shift since last December, will now focus on his duties with the iHeart National Programming Group, while retaining his existing role as PD of WBWL (101.7 The Bull)/Boston.

RAMP reached out to a clearly energized Maher, who said, “I will never take for granted the extra Dad time I got with my kids over the past year, but I am so ecstatic to be back home with my Bull family and crack the mic for Atlanta again!”

Maher/Otis arrived in the ATL in Feb. 2017, transitioning from the PD/afternoon spot at Alpha Media Top 40 WDJX/Louisville, KY. He previously spent nine years with WNKS (Kiss 95.1)/Charlotte, rising to APD/MD/afternoons. Otis started his career at WBNQ/Bloomington, IL and has also worked at WNDV (U93)/South Bend, IN, WNOW (RadioNow 100.9)/Indianapolis and WZEE (Z104)/Madison. Until his iHeart email account is reactivated, Otis can be reached at jeymaher20@yahoo.com.

• In a related story, RAMP has confirmed that Spencer Graves has exited as co-host of the now former Spencer & Kristen morning show after nearly two years. Co-host Kristen Gates is rolling solo, at least for now. Watch this space for further developments.
