Ayala Elevated At iHeart San Diego

• iHeartMedia San Diego promotes from within, naming Mary Ayala as Program Director of the cluster’s spoken-word brands — News-Talk KOGO-AM (Newsradio 600), Sports-Talk KGB-AM (San Diego Sports 760), and Conservative Talk KLSD-AM (The Patriot AM 1360).

Ayala has been in the building for more than a decade and most recently served as APD/Executive Producer of KOGO and KLSD. In her new role as Program Director of these three brands, Ayala will report to Taylor Jukes, the newly appointed SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia San Diego.

“Mary has been a part of our cluster for many years and is more than ready to take the lead role of our Talk stations,” said Noreen Ippolito, Market President of iHeartMedia San Diego. “She’s smart, experienced and incredibly detailed with her work.”
