Bay Area Programming Hijinks
“Q102 has already built a great audience and they have been telling us to play more of the familiar, rhythmic hits,” said Greg Nemitz, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom San Francisco. “With the relaunch of The NEW Q102.1, a Bay Area station is finally playing more of the classics we all know and love.” The station will announce further programming/personnel updates in the coming weeks.
To help get you in the proper frame of mind, the station has temporarily rebranded as “98.5 K-STONES, The South Bay’s Rolling Stones Station” and is giving away pair of Stones tickets daily at 8am, 9am and 3pm.
And on Sunday, the day of the big show, 98.5 K-STONES will play 12 hours of Stones classics from noon-midnight and the staff will be tailgating at the Hilton Santa Clara from 4-7pm.
