Becker Joins CMG As VP/Audience & Content


In this newly created leadership role, Becker will lead CMG Radio’s audience growth strategy across broadcast, streaming, podcasting, social media, and emerging platforms. Working closely with programming leaders and market managers, he’ll focus on expanding audience reach, strengthening content performance, elevating on-air talent, and accelerating multi-platform growth.

Becker has over 25 years of leadership experience spanning programming, content, digital media, audience development, and brand strategy. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Content for Alpha Media, where he led content, programming, and digital strategy across 42 markets and more than 200 brands. Throughout his career, Becker has been recognized for pushing the boundaries of media innovation. His accomplishments include helping launch radio’s first streaming apps, co-founding his own radio company, developing several national brands, and producing multiple podcasts that have generated millions of downloads. His work has earned national attention from major media outlets, including Good Morning America, NBC Nightly News, People, Rolling Stone, Wired, MTV, and the Today show.
