Ben & Skin Schedule The Movers
• iHeartMedia Dallas-Fort Worth announced that The Ben & Skin Show is packing up and relocating from afternoon drive on Active Rock KEGL (97.1 The Eagle) across the hall to mornings on Classic Rock sister KZPS (Lone Star 92.5), beginning next Monday, August 10.
Alongside Krystina “K-Ray” Ray and Kevin “KT” Turner, hosts Ben Rogers and Jeff “Skin” Wade will bring their signature mix of humor, sports, music, pop culture and everything happening around DFW to morning drive on Lone Star 92.5. Pictured, (l-r): Ben, KT, K-Ray, & Skin
“What an incredible opportunity to join the legendary Lone Star 92.5,” said Rogers. “Skin and I grew up here, built our careers here and raised our families here. Now, to be able to call Lone Star 92.5 home is truly an honor.”
“This is the exact right fit for us and what we love to do on the air,” said Wade. “The transition will feel seamless for longtime Lone Star listeners, and it won’t change the connection Ben & Skin fans have with our show one bit.”
Rogers and Wade, who enjoy more than two decades of DFW radio experience, originally joined KEGL in Feb. 2020, after a run at Audacy Sports-Talk KRLD (105.3 The Fan). They rode through KEGL’s ill-fated Oct. 2022 transition to Hot Talk/Sports as 97.1 The Freak, and its April 2024 return to Active Rock as The Eagle.
