BIG Change In Grand Rapids
“We discovered that in West Michigan no station was playing a lot of these great hits,” said Tim Feagan, Market President for iHeart West Michigan. “These are hit songs that everyone knows and are fun to hear again and again.”
BIG 101.3 is under the command of Dave Taft, VP of Programming, who remarked, “Our goal is to play iconic hits that everyone knows and can sing along to regardless of age. Most important is that they are just fun to listen to.”
The new format kicked off Saturday following this season’s first broadcast of Michigan State University football — part of a new deal with Fox Sports and MSU, Big 101.3 FM will be the radio home of MSU football and basketball play-by-play for the next five years.
