Bo Matthews Joins Super Hi-Fi
• Super Hi-Fi, the leader in AI-powered radio services for broadcast and digital media companies, announced the hire of veteran programmer Bo Matthews as its new Director of Radio Programming Services.
Matthews brings with him more than two decades of industry experience, most recently OM/PD of Alpha Media’s Bay Country simulcast — 94.5 KBAY/San Jose and 92.1 KKDV/Walnut Creek, CA, and Hot AC KEZR (Mix 106.5)/San Jose, until he exited in July during a round of restructuring.
In his new role, Matthews and his team will work closely with broadcast radio companies and their extensive talent rosters, ensuring that Super Hi-Fi’s radio solutions faithfully express the creative intent of program directors. The team will also oversee the output quality of every radio station the company’s AI-powered platform produces to help ensure Super Hi-Fi’s stations are consistently delivering world class radio listening experiences.

Matthews started his radio career with Jacor in Youngstown, OH, and ascended through the ranks with Clear Channel and iHeartMedia with early stops in Ft. Myers and Jacksonville, followed by a decade Cleveland as PD of WMMS and WAKS until early 2014, when he was named SVP of Programming for iHeart Cincinnati and Dayton.
Matthews joined joined Alpha Media in early 2018 as OM of the Dayton, OH cluster and Content Director of Adult Hits WGTZ (92.9 Jack FM) and Classic Country WCLI (101.5 Hank FM). He was named OM of the San Jose cluster in May 2022, shortly after the launch of Bay Country.
