Boss’s Boss Bridges Upped To VP
• Press Communications has elevated Robby Bridges from Director of Programming to Vice President of Programming for Classic Rock simulcast WWZY/WBHX (107.1 The Boss)/Monmouth-Ocean, NJ.
‘In this newly enhanced VP role, Bridges will continue to oversee all aspects of programming, talent, marketing and promotion for The Boss while continuing to co-host Robby and Rochelle in the Morning with his wife, Rochelle. In making the announcement of Bridges’ upgrade, Press CEO Robert McAllan commented, “Anyone who observes Robby knows he works tirelessly on making The Boss the success the stations currently enjoy. Under his leadership, we fully expect Robby will continue to build on that success well into the future. WWZY and WBHX combined have seen growth since his arrival.”
Prior to his debut at The Boss in September 2021, Bridges programmed Macdonald Garber Top 40WKHQ/Traverse City, MI and served as OM of Townsquare Media’s Portsmouth, NH group. His earlier PD stops include WDVD & WDRQ/Detroit, WEBE 108/Bridgeport, CT and WFAS-FM/Westchester, NY, and he was APD of the late WPLJ/New York.
