Bret’s Mega Kansas City Move
• Audacy Hot AC KZPT (99.7 The Point)/Kansas City introduces a revised lineup today with the launch of The Bret Mega Show in afternoon drive. The shift had been voiced by Chase Daniels, OM of Audacy Cleveland, who will still be heard on the weekend.
The Bret Mega Show, based in mornings at Hot AC sister KYKY (Y98)/St. Louis, compliments the current Point lineup of Ponch & Nikki in mornings and Ali Tuggle in middays. In another facet of this inter-market talent exchange program, Ponch & Nikki are heard in afternoons at Y98.
When introducing the show, which features host Bret Mega, Hannah, Anna (AB), Kevin and Alex, JR Ammons, VP of Operations and Programming for Audacy Kansas City, noted, “This move, coupled with Ali’s shift from The Wolf to middays on the Point earlier this month, further underscores Audacy’s commitment to forging genuine, emotional bonds with our listeners, beyond the music we play.”
