Cannell Returns To NOLA

• Why is this man smiling? Paul Cannell is returning to New Orleans, hired by Cumulus as the new PD of WZRH (ALT 92.3) and WRKN (NASH FM 106.1), effective August 14. Cannell is currently PD of Sunrise Broadcasting Alternative WRMR (Modern Rock 98.7)/Wilmington, NC, but he’s no stranger to the Crescent City, having previously programmed WKBU (Bayou 95.7)/New Orleans. His resume also includes WMFX (Fox 102.3)/Columbia, SC, KTUX/Shreveport, LA and WKLR (96.5 The Planet)/Richmond, VA, to name a few. He was also Digital Managing Editor for Townsquare Media’s six stations in Shreveport, LA.
