• CBS Radio Country KMLE/Phoenix now has a rare and wonderful opportunity available for a talented pro to become the station’s next MD/afternoon drive personality. Yesterday it was announced that Bryan “B-Dub” Washington (left) is packing for departure to a new programming gig in a market TBA. “We want to thank B-Dub for his hard work and commitment to KMLE over the past year,” said Tim Richards, VP of Programming for CBS Radio Phoenix. “We are grateful for his time here and we wish him the best with his new adventure.” Dub, who also hosts the syndicated Buckwild Saturday Night landed in Phoenix last March, coming from the APD/MD/afternoon spot at Alpha Media Country KUPL (98.7 The Bull)/Portland, OR. His previous stops include WRDW (Wired 96.5) and WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia and WXSS (Kiss 103.7)/Milwaukee. Dub commented, “I’m thankful to Tim Richards and Dave Pugh for giving me the opportunity to be part of KMLE and the CBS Radio Phoenix family. The team here is top notch, and I look forward to carrying what I’ve learned in Phoenix to the next chapter in my career.”

• Blaine Jackson has been named Program Director of iHeartMedia Country WLUB (105.7 The Bull) and Classic Country WLUB HD2 (106.3 The Bull Icons)/Augusta, GA. Ms. Jackson is a native of Barnesville, GA and transfers from the PD post at iHeartMedia Country sibling WIHB (96.5 The Bull)/Macon, GA. She joined the company in 2010 as a part-time board op in Macon and was later named PD of iHeartMedia’s three-station group in Newnan, GA.
