Fox Comes Home To Pensacola

• Nick Fox is the new Program Director of Cumulus Country WXBM (NASH FM 102.7)/Pensacola, FL. He will also handle the prestigious noon-3pm shift.

Fox (left) segues from Saga Communications in Clarksville, TN, where he was most recently Assistant Program Director and morning co-host at Country WVVR (Beaver 100.3). Fox joined WVVR three years ago to do afternoons, coming from Cumulus Top 40 WABD/Mobile, AL. He started his career at WABD’s predessesor, the late, legendary WABB/Mobile.

Jackie Rinker, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Media Pensacola, said, “The energy Nick brings is already being felt in the halls and on the air for us. We are expecting big things from him.” Operations Manager Greg Tillotson commented, “Finding a guy like Nick to take the reins of our NASH brand is so exciting for our cluster and company. He brings so many tools to the Program Director chair.”

For his part, Fox exclaimed, “I’m ecstatic to be back home as the PD of WXBM! This station has a rich legacy and passionate listeners. I’m ready to hit the ground running in Pensacola.” Fox is already in the house and can be congratulated at Nick.Fox@Cumulus.com. He succeeds Jeni Lane, who left in August after 3 1/2 years.
