Happy 25th, Erik Bradley!

• In an industry not traditionally known for employment longevity, we especially want to take this opportunity to stop down for a few precious moments and send our most sincere best wishes our pal Erik Bradley, who today celebrates his 25th anniversary with Entercom Top 40 B96/Chicago!

Bradley (right) was the Music Director at the former WCKZ (Kiss 102)/Charlotte when he was named MD of B96 on October 18, 1993. A few years later he was upped to APD, and added matching duties for Classic Hip Hop sister WBMX (104-3 JAMS) on Nov. 17, 2017, the same day as the Entercom/CBS Radio merger.

Interestingly, Bradley was hired by Todd Cavanah, who, in July 1993 was upped from APD/MD to PD of B96 when Dave Shakes moved to KMEL/San Francisco. A quick check of the calendar reveals that Cavanah, now Entercom Chicago VP of Programming and PD of B96 and 104-3 JAMS, celebrated his 25th anniversary as PD of B96 in July!

“Erik was my first hire when I became Program Director back in 1993,” Cavanah (left) tells RAMP. “After 25 years, it’s still the best move I have ever made! His relationships with our staff, the label reps, agents, managers and the artists themselves are spectacular, and so are you, E Money B!” Your notes of love and congratulations can be sent to Erik at Erik.Bradley@entercom.com.

Happy 25th, Erik Bradley!
