HaZe On The Loose

RAMP has confirmed that Dustin “HaZe” Monroe has exited as APD and afternoon talent at iHeartMedia Top 40 KSLZ (Z107.7)/St. Louis. Making his departure even more painful, HaZe posted this note to Facebook: “Just got laid off from my gig while I’m in ICU with my Dad. Life is a trip.”

This had been HaZe’s second tour of duty at Z107.7 — he originally worked there in 2006 and returned in May 2024.

HaZe began his career at KJCK/Kansas City, followed by stops at KDHT (Hot 93.3)/Austin, KZCH (Channel 96.3)/Wichita and Sinclair’s late WZNR (106.1 The Zone)/Norfolk-Virginia Beach, followed by his KSLZ debut 20 years ago.

HaZe went on to work at WXSS (103.7 Kiss FM)/Milwaukee and WDZH (formerly 98.7 AMP Radio)/Detroit, before returning to St. Louis at Audacy’s KNOU (formerly Now 96.3), later crossing the hall to do afternoon drive on Hot AC KYKY (Y98).

Looking ahead, HaZe can be contacted at 314-370-4995 or hazeonair@gmail.com. All socials: @Hazeonair.
