How To Raise Your Audio Game, Quicke

Dr. Rob Quicke, a leading authority in the field of audio production and the founder of College Radio Day, announces the release of his debut book, Finding Your Voice in Radio, Audio, and Podcast Production. In this groundbreaking textbook, published by Routledge, Dr. Quicke guides readers, particularly those just starting out in audio production, through a transformative journey of self-development, encouraging them to harness the power of sound to express themselves in a variety of ways, while inspiring and empowering readers to build their confidence and to create audio content that truly matters to them.

“I’ve written a textbook unlike any other, where the focus is on what would prompt the reader to hit that ‘record’ button, and consider what they have to say when they do,” says Quicke, who is currently Professor and Director of the W. Page Pitt School of Journalism & Mass Communications at Marshall University. The book draws from Quicke’s own experiences in radio, audio, and podcasting, and features interviews with audio creators from around the world. “It has a truly international scope, and students will find someone that they identify with when they read it,” adds Quicke.

Finding Your Voice in Radio, Audio, and Podcast Production is now available for purchase on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and all booksellers. It’s also available directly from Routledge here.
