Borders Can’t Contain Fletcher’s PD Power

iHeartMedia has ordered some new business cards for Dustin Fletcher to accurately reflect his swell new position as Director of Alternative Rock Programming for the company’s St. Louis Region and Program Director of KDXA (ALT 106.3)/Des Moines, IA. He will continue to program KLLT (ALT 104.9)/St. Louis, as he has done since December 2016. Fletcher will report to Greg Chance, Region SVP of Programming for the St. Louis Region and A.J., SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis. A.J. said, “Nobody knows the Alternative Rock format and core audience better than Fletcher, who is a gifted programmer with immeasurable creativity.” Chance commented, “Fletcher has already made a huge impact with ALT 104.9 in St. Louis during his short time in the market. I’m positive he will continue to take our St. Louis Region Alternative Rock brands to new heights with his expanded role.”

Fletcher brings over 10 years of programming expertise to his new roles. Prior to joining ALT 104.9 in late 2016, he programmed iHeartMedia sisters WRXL (XL102) and 96.1 The Planet (WRVQ HD2)/Richmond. Earlier stops include the late, great WFNX/Boston, WFXH/Savannah, GA, WDYL/Richmond and WFNZ/Knoxville, TN. “This is a huge opportunity leading our programming efforts at ALT 106.3 in Des Moines,” said Fletcher. “I’m extremely proud of what we’ve done with ALT 104.9. The St. Louis Region has some of the most talented programming and on-air talent in radio and I’m excited for what we have in store.”
