Charleston Wakes Up With Hunter, Jessica & Cush
• Saga Country WCKN (92.5 Kickin’ Country)/Charleston, SC announced the creation of a new morning show — Hunter, Jessica & Cush debuts Monday, August 25, and combines the talents of three existing fan-favorites — former afternoon drive team of Hunter Meyer & Jeff “Cush” Cushman, who will now set their alarms ungodly early to team up with beloved morning host Jessica Chandler, previously one half of TJ & Jessica in the Morning. Chandler’s former co-host TJ Phillips, a market morning legend for nearly four decades, died June 8 at 66.
As the release states, “The new show combines Hunter and Cush’s signature chemistry and unique look at the world with the warmth, wit and female perspective of Jessica, to create a phenomenal experience for Lowcountry morning listeners.”
